Matias DeDovitiis
PRESIDENT
Born in Uruguay, Matias has been a very active member of Spanish-speaking community in the last 10 years. He helped to start and was President of the Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS) at the University of Toronto. This student group is now located in 5 campuses across Ontario. He was a founding member and President of Mosaico 21, a Latino culture magazine, for 4 years. Matias is currently the Executive Director for the DUKE Heights BIA and is a board member of a number of other community organizations.

Alicia Galarza
VICE-PRESIDENT
Ecuadorian-born Alicia Galarza is a model of volunteer and professional service to the Hispanic Community. Thanks to her volunteer role through non-profit organizations she helps promote spaces for Latin American immigrants and for the preservation of the Latin American culture in Canada ("Festival de la Palabra y de la Imagen").

Andrea Mera
SECRETARY
Andrea is completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto where she studies Political Science, Sociology and Philosophy. She was born in Ecuador and moved to Canada with her family. She has been involved with various non-for-profit organizations including Mosaico21 and Radio Voces Latinas. Andrea recently joined CONOSER as the Treasurer.

Jen Quito
MEMBER AT LARGE
Jen practices Law in the areas of pay equity and education law. She joined the Law firm Cavaluzzo and partners in 2012. She joined the firm after clerking at the at Supreme Court of Justice in Toronto. While at Osgoode Hall Law School, Jen received several honours, including the Dean's Gold Key award, The Ian Scott Public Interest award, the Norton Rose LLP award, the Borden Ladner Gervais Professional Excellence award and the McMillan Binch award. Jen was also part of the 2011 Laskin Administrative Law Moot competition where she received recognition as the 4th place overall oralist and won 1st place pair award with her partner, as well as two other team awards.
Prior to law school, Jen received an Honours B.A. in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies from the University of Toronto. During her time there she co-organized a tutoring program aimed at benefiting Latino youth, and was the head representative of non-resident students at Trinity College. Jen is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Assocation, the Law Union, the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), and the Hispanic Ontario Lawyers Association.

Chris Rugel
MEMBER AT LARGE
Chris has been working with the professional community, charitable foundations, pensions and municipalities, and select institutions, helping them to achieve their capital preservation objectives since 1994. Leveraging the expertise gained as a former fixed income trader in the institutional bond market, he has developed specialized fixed income portfolios for clients to help them achieve their goals. In low interest rate environment, maximizing the yield portfolios is paramount for low-risk institutional clients including foundations and municipalities, Chris has worked with numerous and diverse clients to develop their goals and priorities.
